Privacy Policy

RebootAI Inc. ("RebootAI", "we", "us") builds and deploys agentic AI for industrial and ops-heavy companies. This policy explains what information we collect through rebootai.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We try to keep this short and plain.

1. Information we collect

a) Information you give us directly

• Contact & waitlist forms. Name, work email, company, role, company size, intent (waitlist / diagnostic sprint / full deployment), and any free-text message or details you choose to share (e.g. target start date, approver, pain points, current stack, budget).
• Exit-intent / report request. Email address and company domain, when you ask us to send a custom AI readiness report.
• AI Readiness Analyzer. The company domain you submit. We use it to query third-party language model APIs (Anthropic Claude) which may perform web search against publicly available information about that domain.
• Chat widget. Messages you type into the on-page chat. These are sent to Anthropic Claude for response generation. Transcripts are kept in your browser's sessionStorage and are cleared when you close the tab.

b) Information collected automatically (with your consent)

• Standard server logs from our hosting provider (Vercel): IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamp. Used for security and debugging.
• Product analytics (PostHog) — page views, clicks, form submissions, and the events needed to understand how people use the site. Loaded only after you accept the consent banner.
• Session replay & heatmaps (Microsoft Clarity) — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity masks form inputs by default. Loaded only after you accept the consent banner.
• We do not run Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or cross-site fingerprinting. You can decline the consent banner and nothing beyond server logs is collected.

2. How we use it

• To respond to your inquiry, send the report you requested, or contact you about the waitlist / diagnostic / deployment you indicated interest in.
• To generate AI-driven responses (analyzer output, chat replies) using the Anthropic Claude API.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website.
• To send occasional product updates. You can opt out at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or emailing hello@rebootai.com.

3. Sharing & sub-processors

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the vendors we need to run the site:

• Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions (United States).
• Anthropic — language model API (Claude) used to generate analyzer output and chat replies. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from training on API inputs by default.
• Resend / our transactional email provider — to deliver contact form submissions and reports to our team and to you.
• PostHog — product analytics (US-hosted). Loaded only with consent.
• Microsoft Clarity — session replay and heatmaps. Loaded only with consent. Form inputs are masked by default.
• HubSpot — CRM for contact and waitlist submissions.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

4. Data retention

• Contact form & waitlist submissions: kept in our CRM until you ask us to delete them or for as long as needed to maintain our business relationship.
• Chat transcripts: stored only in your browser session. We do not persist them server-side beyond the API call needed to generate a reply.
• Server logs: typically retained for 30 days by our hosting provider.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. California, EU/UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rebootai.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Children

RebootAI is a B2B service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. International users

RebootAI is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, restrict internal access on a need-to-know basis, and rely on reputable hosting and API providers. No system is perfectly secure; we do not guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
